Clivus

Description

Clivus means “hill” or “slope” in Latin. In almost all cultures and civilizations in world history, the mountain is universal, cosmic, and holy.

The isosceles right triangle as the unit form condenses the mountain, while the diagonal stripe abstracts the primal slope. Finally, the color beige is a thread through all the pieces, reminding us of the clouds at the mountain’s highest peak, that we raise our eyes to.
